Final week of Christmas events for us. Large joiner parties at Venue 360, lots of buffet lunches and a beautiful wedding at North Mymms Park for David and Alice. Over 3,500 guests fed during December has kept our kitchens busy and all our staff working hard.
North Mymms Park is a new venue for us and to finish our busy December there was a real treat. David and Alice arrived to Champagne and canapés in the stunning house and then walked through the gardens to the stunning marquee with glasses of mulled wine in the winter sunshine.
A three course wedding breakfast of twice baked goats cheese souffle to start, followed by Lamb Shank with buttered mash and honey roasted roots, with a trio of desserts to finish. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate completed the meal. Wonderful heart felt speeches and a version of the 12 days of Christmas led by David and Alice set the atmosphere for the evening. A great day had by all, a pleasure to be part of.
Our busy 2nd week of Christmas saw us at Venue 360 for the Vauxhall Pensioners Dinner, at Spirella for the Knights Templar Prom. We have catered for the last few years at both of these events, its so lovely to be invited back to cater again. We were also at Venue 360 for a 260 guests joiner party and lots of other drop off buffets left the busy kitchen complete with many mince pies and festive treats!
Our busy 1st week of Christmas saw us at two Christmas parties at Court Garden House in Marlow, along with a private party; two Christmas parties at Venue 360 and a Christmas party for Simply Education in The Grand Hall in Bronham! With menus covering not just traditional turkey dinner and Christmas puddings but Salmon with Nicoise salad, Red onion, thyme and beetroot tart tatin, After Eight Mint Brownies and Chocolate Orange Tartlets. The team worked hard and the result was lots off happy well fed festive guests!
