Last Saturday we catered for Yasmin & Nick’s big day in her parents beautiful garden in Stevenage. An outside ceremony in one part of the garden started the day, followed by drinks and canapés on the lawn before the guests made their way into a stunning marquee for the wedding breakfast. We served a BBQ main course of Beef Burgers, Chicken, honey, soy and chorizo skewers, Lamb skewers marinated in mint, red chilli and orange and marinated vegetable and haloumi skewers. Bowls of Parmentier potatoes, homemade slaw, rocket and pine nut salad and roasted med veg accompanied the delicious meal. A trio of desserts followed. Lee Smith was there as their MOC and delivering his outstanding magic tricks. Fun and laughter filled the garden till late into the night, a great day had by all.
Yesterday we catered our first event at Court Garden House in Marlow. A sad affair as it was a funeral but with 200 attendees all with stories of a wonderful man it wasn’t too downbeat. They arrived to tea & coffee and a selection of sandwiches and buffet items from our menus. Lots of great compliments from the guests about the food.
Olivia & Lucas celebrated their wedding day at Lodge Farm on Saturday. A beautiful blessing in the secret garden, followed by receptions drinks and canapés on the terrace. Moving int the Tipi we served sharing platters of Slow cooked pulled pork with stuffing, apple sauce and crackling. Brioche buns, and bowls of greek salad, redslaw, roasted med veg and cajun sweet potatoes made it a great feast for the guests. An quirky wedding cake idea having Colin and Connie caterpillar cakes but who doesn’t love a slice of those? We served with berries and cream. A great band kept the guests entertained. A great day to be a part of!
Shaun & Jo, our couple from last weekend left everyone speechless with their 1st Dance! the Piano scene from the movie BIG. It was beautifully executed although Jo has trouble seeing her feet over her dress!
A great day to be part of, Tipi’s set in their Auntie’s field with a circular bar that Shaun had been planning for years! Canapés and Prosecco on arrival, followed by starters of Crab and Potato Cake, Lobster Bisque, Spring Onion and Parsley Salad, with a main course of Roasted Rump of Lamb cooked Medium, Blue Cheese Dauphinoise, Summer Vegetables, Toasted Almonds, Lamb Jus. Wedding cake for dessert and our signature mini fish and chip cones for evening food. A fantastic day with a dance and a bar! we will never forget!
