Private Dining

Kingfisher Caterers

Winners of our donated ‘Private Dining’ experience from the Verulam Charity Ball last October were Mr and Mrs Austen. Last Saturday John & Ian went to their house to cook and serve their chosen meal. They really enjoyed the evening and were discussing how they had bid before but never won and will try harder again next year!

Once the guests had moved from the comfort of the arm chairs to the formally laid table, the main meal service started.  Appetiser chosen was Confit lamb shoulder croquette, warm vegetable salad, mint dressing.  Once these were devoured, main course of Pork tenderloin, creamed potatoes, roasted squash and red onions, crispy pork belly, sticky jus were served.

Dessert of sticky toffee pudding with salted caramel sauce was followed by an amazingly dressed cheese board.  Home made chocolates and coffees rounded off a brilliant fine dining evening.

A great homely evening of good conversation and fantastic food and John got a round of applause for his delicious culinary delights.

Talk of the table was when can we have you back to cook for us again, and what would you recommend….?
