A scrumptious menu!

Saturday at Lodge Farm was a truly magnificent wedding for Jacqui & Terry. A blessing in the secret garden in warm autumnal sunshine started their magical day, followed by Prosecco and canapés on the lawn whilst listening to the acoustic guitar played by Michael King.

Once in the marquee, they were served a scrumptious 3 course dinner prepared by John, David & Jemima. To start they had Twice Baked Goats Cheese Souffle, Figs, Honeyed Pecans, Watercress, Parmesan Cream; followed by a main course of Rump Of Lamb, Mint Hollandaise, Colcannon Cake, Roasted Chantennays, Asparagus; with a trio of desserts comprising of Eton Mess, Blossom Honey, Strawberry Shortcake; White And Dark Chocolate Cheesecake, Dark Cherry Syrup; and Pain Au Chocolate Bread And Butter Pudding, Cinnamon Syrup. Delicious. The guests all commented on how lovely the food was and how lovely the staff serving it were.

Dancing into the night with both a band and disco they really enjoyed themselves. A few even carried on in the house with photo booth props and Prosecco! A lovely day for a truly gorgeous couple, one I will remember for a long time. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Sargent!
